The State Nomination Program for Business Migration in Tasmania recognizes the important contributions that business migrants contribute to Tasmania’s economic change and economic diversity.
A successful company the programme seeks entrepreneurs, inventors, and innovators with the capacity to perform in firms and develop business ideas that will actually help Tasmania’s economy.
Business Innovation Stream (Subclass 188/888)
To start a new business or buy an existing one in Tasmania, the candidate should be able to invest at least AUD 200,000.
Migration Tasmania is looking for successful company owners, innovators, and businessmen who can operate enterprises and develop the business concepts that will actually help Tasmania’s economy through the Business Innovation stream.

- Increasing the capabilities of the industry
Entrepreneur stream (subclass 188/888)
The applicant must contribute at least AUD 50,000 in own funds to the planned entrepreneurial endeavour.
Entrepreneurs have advanced degrees, such as master’s degrees and/or doctorates, in fields related to the intended business activity.
