Express Entry Canada 2022 – 2023
If you have a dream to work and live in Canada, it’s time to apply!
Canada is inviting candidates to apply for permanent residency through Express Entry. IRCC is holding the fourth Express Entry draw from July.
It is among the most popular immigration pathways for skilled newcomers who want to settle down here.
Resumption of Entry Express Draws
IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) had paused all-program Express Entry for Canada for more than 18 months, and the draws have resumed just now. The reason was a sudden hike in application influx during Covid-19 while Canada’s borders were closed.
Initially, FSWP applicants were prohibited from applying for permanent residence; only PNP or CEC candidates received ITAs. Later, the authorities also paused the draws for CEC in September 2021.
Express Entry Canada 2022
Over 7,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) have been issued to candidates to obtain permanent residence. Each draw has provided the opportunity to 250 more candidates who would want to apply for the PR. The Comprehensive Ranking System score (CRS) is also declining every week and has reached 525 from 557.
Another benefit for the people issued with ITAs is the absence of any program restriction. Candidates from Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) could apply.
Changes in Canada Express Entry 2023
Express Entry is mainly suited for skilled workers who wish to move to Canada and make a living there. Canada is in full swing, offering Entry to thousands of permanent residents in 2022. The number is expected to be 55,900 by the end of 2020 and reach a high of 111,500 by 2024.
Express Entry allows IRCC to process applications conveniently as the potential candidates have already covered the eligibility criteria. If you do not know, Canada is thinking of holding draws that invite people from specific professional backgrounds to intake more immigrants who are expected to be more successful in their respective fields.
