Offshore candidates can now apply for additional jobs
An additional 24 new Engineering Professions have been added to the existing jobs for people who are currently residing offshore to handle South Australia’s COVID recovery response.
The 24 new jobs will go into effect on November 2, 2021.
The following are the minimum qualifications for state nomination in these occupations:
- You must have worked in the specified or closely similar occupation for at least 8 years.
- You must show that you have a superior command of the English language (IELTS 8 on each day PTE 79 on each band)
- For the Skilled Work Regional visa (subclass 491), you must score at least 85 points, which implies you only need 70 points without the State’s points.
Look for vocations that already exist. Offshore candidates are welcome to apply for the position of Regional Sponsor in South Australia.
