UPDATED LIST OF OCCUPATIONS IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA

You can apply from any region in Australia

In both General Stream and the Graduate Stream, new occupations have been included.

  • People from all throughout Australia are eligible to apply.
  • Occupations with 70 points were invited in the most recent round of invitations.
  • In certain circumstances, invitations were sent out within two days.
  • Accountant, Automotive Electrician, Civil Engineer, Childcare Center Manager, Electricians, ICT Vocations, several Engineering occupations, and many others have been added to General Stream.

The following WASMOL Schedule 1 occupations are no longer classified Regional WA Only, which means that candidates can use employment agreements from Perth or anywhere else in Western Australia to fulfil State nomination requirements.

The WASMOL Schedule 1 now includes the following occupation.

  • Worker in Social Services (272511)

 

Western Australia Skilled Migration Eligibility Criteria (General Stream, Schedule 1)

  • You must be a resident of Australia at the time of application.
  • Have a job that is listed on the Western Australian Skilled Migration Occupation List.
  • Work Experience in Australia/Overseas: a minimum of one year of Australian professional experience in the chosen (or closely related) occupation in the last ten years, or a minimum of 3 years of foreign job experience in the nominated occupation in the last ten years. (Employment has to be for at least 20 hours each week.)
  • English Language Requirement: You must be able to communicate in English at a basic level.
  • In Western Australia, you must have a full-time employment contract for at minimum twelve months in the chosen or closely linked occupation.

Western Australia Skilled Migration Eligibility Criteria (General Stream, Schedule 2)

  • You must be a resident of Australia at the time of application.
  • Have a job that is listed on the Western Australian Skilled Migration Occupation List (General Stream, Schedule 2). Accounting, IT, Engineering, and several other professions are available.
  • English Language Requirement: You must be able to communicate in English at a basic level.
  • In Western Australia, you must have a full-time employment contract for at minimum twelve months in the chosen or closely linked occupation.

Western Australia Skilled Migration Eligibility Criteria (Graduate Stream)

  • You must be a resident of Australia at the time of application.
  • Have a job that’s on the list of Western Australian Skilled Migration Graduate Occupations.
  • Study Requirement: Have a Certificate III or higher qualification in Western Australia AND have studied in Western Australia for at least two years.
  • English Language Requirement: You must be able to communicate in English at a basic level.
  • Work Experience in Australia OR a Job Offer in Western Australia: Over the previous 5 years, at least 6 months of paid Australian professional experience in the nominated (or closely comparable) occupation OR a full-time employment contract in Western Australia for at least 6 months in the chosen (or closely related) occupation.
